Yesterday, something truly life-changing happened for me. After months of planning, recording, editing, and pouring my heart into every detail, my podcast Judy’s Daughter: The Jamie Goode Story officially launched.

This isn’t just another project. This is my mother’s story — her life, her struggles, her truth — told through my eyes as her daughter. It’s a story I’ve carried for decades, one that has shaped me into the person I am today. It’s deeply personal, emotional, and, at times, raw. But it’s also a story about love, resilience, and the strength we find when we decide to speak up and share what’s been held inside for far too long.

When that first episode went live, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I hoped people would listen. I hoped it would resonate. I hoped it would matter. What happened next was beyond anything I could have imagined.

Within hours, the feedback started pouring in. People were listening, sharing, and reaching out with heartfelt messages. Friends, family, and even strangers from all over sent words of encouragement. Some said they were moved to tears. Others told me it made them think about their own families and their own stories in a whole new light. And many simply said, “Thank you for sharing this.”

I can’t even explain how much that means to me. To know that my mother’s story is being heard — and that it’s touching people in such a personal way — is the greatest gift I could have asked for.

This podcast is not just my journey. It’s a way of honoring my mother and giving her the voice she deserves. It’s also a way to connect with all of you — those who have supported me, believed in me, and reminded me that storytelling has the power to heal.
